Great video! What kind of tang is the one about halfway through, is it the sailfin? He almost looks like a gem...

    Your hippo is a beast!

Thanks Lucas! I have two tangs: one is a hippo and the other is a yellow eye kole tang. Pretty lil fella (he is really tiny).

I don't think there is a difference. I know LA sells them as the bluehead fairy wrasse. The one I got from them looks nothing like the picture they have up for the bluehead. I did find a cool site that had all the variants of the species and found it on there. Mine is about 2.5" and I have a anampses wrasse that for some reason freaking hates him. They look nothing alike and they are different species, go figure! :-/ That is wrasses for you!!

Well, I followed your lead. Took the endcap off the reactor. Everything is tumbling so much better... aaaand, when the pump turns off, there is no back syphon as long as both tubes from the reactor are under water! I guess sometimes less is more...;)

IMO, there is a difference. A big difference at that.

Blue Headed Wrasse = Thalassoma bifasciatum

Blue Sided Wrasse = Cirrhilabrus cyanopleura

But you're both talking about the latter. The two common names can get interchanged sometimes; hence the reason I take common names with a grain of salt. ;)

Shin, what happened to the Apex? I see you've gone MIA on reeftronics.

Trust me I thought about PMing you, Hunter :) I can always count on you.

The Apex has been offline at the moment.. A thunder hit my neighborhood the other day, had to reset the router.

    New frag rack :)

Captainsalty is where I got it from. VERY strong magnets, well made. Holds ORA frags too.
