I really dont have routine RBTA feeding schedule, the big clown brings food to it too. But regardless of what Ive tried, its dosnt wanna become bubbly anymore..

I believe I have enough light, its under the same light setup before and after the bubbliness.

I suppose if it didn't have enough light it would move, but at the same time it seems to be stretching to get some lighting. I fed all my corals every other day with frozen brine shrimp and other stuff my gf made (until 80% of my live stock died from UPS opening my boxes and bags from when I moved down to L.A. from MA ). Do you target feed? If you don't try that for a little while and see if it helps. I would be worried if it were my RBTA and it didn't bubble up for a while. After all you have an amazing tank and everything is growing nicely so yet it's strange to see it like this.

There is no rhyme nor reason to why they lose bubbles. Mine did too. I've read dozens of threads on it with no answers.

    REASON BTA's LOSE THEIR BUBBLES

    1. Too much light.
    2. Not enough Light
3.Doesn't have a clownfish in it.
    4. Has a clownfish in it.
    5. Need to be fed more.
    6. Needs to be fed less.
    7. Too much current.
    8.Too little current.
    9. Not enough nutrients.
    10. Too much nutrients.

I'll save reasons 10-20 for another day.

I don't know if its me, but I have the worst luck with RBTAs. I tried two of them and no success at all.

I never had luck with hammer corals either... Ive tried and failed twice, so Im really reluctant to get it again. But Id like a purple hammer!! lol

It's my day off today and took the skimmer out from the sump, cleaned the heck out of it! The air intake hole gets clogged with calcium deposit faster than usual (or people dont talk much about it?). I soaked the inlet piece in vinegar water for a few minutes and the airway is all clear, oh man, what a difference, its working like there is no tomorrow!!

    Anyways, little angled FTS:

    Good luck with the hammer!

What do you mean by no cap? Did you just take the end off, bare pipe?

    Looking great!!!

I think you should try a hammer just one more time. Try to place it in between two rocks with some light. That's how I had success with my hammer.
