Evolution slap/click noise fix..17 cents

My new evo's are not having this prob at all with the hydor wave maker.
there was a slight click on day 1 but absolutely none by day 2.

But grandpa's fix looks great for those that are having the issues.

..I have a 1050 that's doing that ...I'm working on a thinner one...trying to buy it made thinner...no bueno ..me/razor LOL
.. but I think it(thickness) is relative to the conductivity? ...your issue now has it fairly clear to me...I wonder extending the stops would do the trick? my 1200 is fine..stronger motor perhaps?:-/ stay tuned...

 

a little bit of artful shaving\sanding should give me enough play for the shaft to engage the reverse stops. Hopefully...

 

was also thinking about what would happen if you tossed a ball bearing behind the shaft to bring it forward somewhat

 

...like the size of a BB, maybe huh...how are you shaving it...sandpaper?..my fat azz fingers wont let me...wish I had a little vise (besides beer) LOL8)

 

Yeah i've been sticking the washer to some duct tape and pulling it back and forth over the sanding block. I think next time I go wander the hardware store i'll grab a bunch of bearings. As far as our little vice problem....well, a wise man once told me that there's food value in beer but there's no beer value in food so the choice is pretty easy.

 

Any man that enjoys shiner has to be ok.

Nice video, not a problem I have, but I always enjoy good how-to vids.
