I have a couple of questions. So i will get right to the point.
I went into a LFS today and saw this tank.

I asked him the price and he told me 200$ for the whole set up with the hood. He was gonna set the tank up himself, with led spot lights, so he built 5 light sockets into the hood. The tank is 37 gallons. Did i get a good deal the the whole set up? Also I told him I wanted the tank to get drilled and he told me that it wont be worth it, and that a Fluval 405 would be more then fine for a reef tank of that size. When I left to the next store i saw this

the lady did not know what it was and told me she would give it to me for 100 bucks. I told her to hold it for me. what filter should i go with????? :confused
I also wanna do the led spot lights but its so many to choose from!!! My number 1 spot light is the orphek.

But when these led Spot lights comes out it gonna be like a new damn iphone and i dont have the time to deal with that b.s.

GIVE ME SOME FEED BACK PLEASE

by all means get the refugium over the nitrate factory canister filter. The guy at the first store probably doesnt know how to drill it or just didnt want to. either way, if he cant get somone who can and get the fuge. the bottom of your first tank maybe timpered

it depends what you want to keep. but anyways you will need at a certain point a skimmer. is the $100 include the circulation pump?

You will need a decent skimmer and maybe a gfo or biopellet reactor down the road

    Excellent choice on the lights.

SPS require very clean water. I would definitely go with a sump/fuge. However, that was a good deal on the tank. I would recommend a good protein skimnmer as well. What size(gallons) tank is the skimmer you have, rated for?

If you want, have the guy deliver it to you, but do the setting up, by yourself.
