Ever have a trade go wrong?

so im wondering if this ever happened to anyone else.
i traded a guy my 5-par38s for 2-6bulb t5 fixtures. On my local reef club site i clearly stated what they were and what was included (included pics too). so he lives 4 hours north of me, i decided to be fair ill meet him half way. we meet and trade fixtures and talk for a minute and head our seperate ways. all good right?
He calls me later that night telling me "these lights suck, you couldnt grow algae under these!" i kindly tell him that i have been growing sps under them no problem. he tells me to return his lights to him since i lied to him about the output of the lighting. uhhh clearly in my post it said what was included and what they were. he says you never told me they created a spotlight effect. which i reply, they are par38 SPOTLIGHTS.
anyways it went back and forth for a while and pretty much just ended with him going off on me and yelling things im not allowed to type here.
anyone ever deal with anything like this?

 

Hence the reason I rarely trade anymore and never sell.

Too bad really.

i told him that maybe he should have researched them a little better, but that made him even more mad. oh well.

 

+1 to Coralline I had the only trade i ever tried go horribly wrong.

 

Thats why I only trade with people I know.

 

I guess the moral of the story is research what your getting. I did, and I love the fixture I got.

 

That sucks dude. Some people just can't be pleased.
