I bought me a CPR CS100 Overflow Box today, anyways! hopefully I will have a sump/refugium going in about a week, I have a question, when your water evaporates does the level drop in both sump and tank, or does the water level remain constant in the tank and the loss water level is in the sump only?

If set up right, only the return pump compartment of your sump will vary.

So when you do a top off I guess it dont matter were you put the water, just the same excess water also would collect in the pump compartment?

Yep. Just add a little at a time if adding to the DT as it takes a few seconds for it to drain off into the pump compartment

I am looking for a pump now, that CPR overflow is rated at 800gph do I look for a pump the same rate of 800gph, If I had to would it be better to get a pump rated a little higher or a little lower than the 800gph?
