Tank Size is 29 G. FOWLR

Should I get a 750/1050/1400 GPH? The cost between them isn't much...

    *Jager 200W heater.
    Jager Heater (UL Approved)
This isn't overkill for a 29g is it?

*filter: The hang on back filter that came with the tank. what do you put in it? Surley you don't put the same things as you would for freshwater..

Are you going to have a sump? You might need a pump!
Maybe another Koralia....2-3 are good for water movement!
    Lighting...many options there!

Looks good, the 750 Koralia would be more than sufficient, you could go down to a 150W heater, the filter is not needed unless you wish to use carbon or other chemical filtration.

If I could get away without a sump, having a protein skimmer, would I really need a sump?

Also, don't you have to have your tank drilled if you want a sump?

Im assuming that the skimmer pretty much replaces the stock hob filter? Wouldnt a carbon filter throw your water specs off?

No it helps keep them steady, plus removes dissolved organics making the water cleaner and better for the fish.

The skimmer does somewhat. A drilled tank is usually safer for overflow than an over the side model.

I would run carbon in the HOB filter or you can use a ferric oxide or other phosphate type material too.

Starting to think that a Biocube 29 would be cheaper...

I'm starting to punch numbers, I am starting to think that getting a Biocube 29g would be cheaper. What do you guys think?

I dunno about cheaper, but easier is definitely a plus. So is the neatness factor that comes with the AIO tanks; they don't have the "science experiment" look to them like some piecemeal tanks do.

Thank you for all your help and Input guys!

I'll just have to keep reading, I plan on going to the LFS chat with them, maybe buy a book to read also. I have a couple of months to plan stuff out before I move to my new place in August.
