Has anyone here heard of geocaching? We like to do it.. and I bought her a sweet ring (and an LCD tv for the bedroom, it was a good deal LOL).. and I left our GPS on the porch with the coordinates in it called "ME". So i said, come and find me, your hint is "I pine over you"...

Earlier that day I had drove out to the lake to one of our memorable spots where we took our son last winter and the whole HUGE lake was frozen over.. and hid the ring and a big note in a pine tree (hence the hint).

Trying to explain this for the non-geocaching people as well LOL

I showed up just a few minutes after she did as she was trying to find it.. was a good monent and a fun way to propose.

Yeah I thought it was a good idea anyway, she and our other geocaching friends loved it. It was really fun to pull up and see her walking all around it with the GPS. Then she found it and it was wrapped up in a bag and she still wasnt sure.
