EHEIM 1262 Impeller/Shaft Issues

    The shaft is stuck to the impeller and even after 12 hours of soaking in vinegar it will not budge. What should I try next? CLR?

    I really don't want to spend $107 for a new impeller and another $10 for a new shaft.

    thats a tough call did you heat the water sometimes i heat the water in a cup in a microwave then stick the impellers in it..

    Broke the tip of the impeller shaft so no longer an issue i guess. Going to buy a new pump. I can't decide between the reef octo water blaster 5000 or ATB flowstar 1500.
