EcoTech Marine Introduces the EcoSmart Driver

My upgrades shipped a few days ago, can't wait to get them.

My main reason for jumping on the upgrade was the "full off" mode, which will really help me take pictures and target feed certain corals.

before the ES I was going to cut into my power cord and install a switch, but I'm not sure how that would affect the feedback circuit.... this saves me the potential of killing a motor.

Will get them running and post up when they're installed.

important caveat: EcoSmart modes are designed for 3 or more pumps in one tank. It will work with 2 but you're missing a section of the ES program by running less than 3 pumps.

 

Yes and no. The "Eco Smart" modes require 2 and preferably 3 or more pumps to operate.

The OFF/PWR button and the auto-tune wave function would be a benefit to even a single pump system.
