Are they 100% submersable? All they say is "Waterproof" and of course CSA or what ever it is in the USA will not really let anyone say submersable.

    anyone?

Hey E-J heaters are submersible. I had a 250 watt in a 150 gal fresh tank for many years.

    Thanks Scott.
You never know with these things. Some can advertise in the USA that they are fully submersible but not in Canada.
    Even though they are

When you say fully submersible, do you mean completely, totally, absolutely submersible??? i wanted to place my EJ heater in my tank horizontally, but was told that it wasn't designed to be "fully submersible" by my LFS. I hope he's wrong. I'd like to know for sure if it is "fully" submersible.

Form what I have heard from others is: It's 100% under the water submersible. So your plan and mine should be OK

I've seen this question come up a lot on the Net. Everyone always says don't worry about it. As I recall I used to use one of these big green heaters in a sump back when I was young and still good looking. ;D

So in my best Soprano's voice "Doan't worry 'bout it!"

Yes they are completely submersible like fletch said. And in my opinion they are probably the best glass heater you can buy even if they are a little big. I have banged them around pretty good and have yet to break one
