not with that brand, i have 2 of the ones that look like the koralias but are no brand and they work great....I dont think that pump looks strong enough to pump water 4ft...if it does, the pumping pressure it would have would only be about 100gph if it works good

Man, no wonder, I hate how different sites give different information. Aquariumpros.com said to go for only 5x cycle per hour. I was going to get an Eheim 1260 but it is really costing.

5X-10X is fine. That clone would not come close to that though.

I have never used an Eheim. I have not heard anything bad about them though.

The Maxi 3000 would give you comparable flow for 50 bucks less. I used one on my 45 and it worked flawlessly for over a year, before I upgraded tanks.

    Edit:

Just a thought, What overflow are you using?

What I did that was cheap (because I have 12V adapter lying around). I went and bought a bilge pump from walmart, its rated 500 gph, it says 340 at 3ft (doesnt give 4 foot) but its probably close to 300 and it works for me :)

That's kinda scary. Most bilge pumps are not rated for continuous use. Good ingenuity though.
