thats a nice looking coral. how about telling the one that has one in bad shape what you feed it and how often. what are your water params and temp? what type of lighting and photo period? what kind of water flow? maybe this will help them to revive their coral.

our params are as follows: ph-8.2, alk-10, amonia-0, nitrite-0, nitrate-0, calcium-480, magnesium-1450, temp=79F, water flow is heavy. Target feed every other day. Take a 2 liter pop bottle and cut the bottom off, place the bottle over the top of the coral and using a turkey baster and squirt coral food into spout and let sit there for 5 min or so. We are using H20 Life coral food mix. Yes they also like oyster eggs in their diet. your coral looks pretty rough but try this method and see what comes of it. best of luck. feel free to ask anymore questions. here is what it looks like after feeding yesterday

Good luck post back in a few months I'd be interested in seeing its growth rates . Its not impossible to keep them long term but if this is your first one and at Justin Goniaopora 6 weeks ? Again good luck , Thats enough said by me .

If you want some good solid information on the species look around the net for a guy named Justin Grable or AKA Justin Credible He used to come by the shop and knows the speciesd better then anyone I know of

these things can go with no reasons.. these don't really last in captivity and there hasn't been enough research done on them on how to keep them long term in captivity, what tangster said basically is correct
