So on Halloween night I came home to find my house had been broken into. They took my laptop, camera, and all the jewelery they could find. (the idiots missed all the crystal stuff). They also for whatever reason decided to bring a 5lb chuck of concrete block that they threw at my salt tank. Thank God it didn't break, but now there are several chips and scratches where the rock bounced off the front glass. Is there any trick to repairing or concealing this kind of stuff?

    Thanks in advance.

You are lucky it didnt shatter. If its as bad as you say it is, I'd be looking for a new tank just to be on the safe side.

    People are idiots.

wow that really sucks!!!!! like geek said I'd be looking for a new tank! if it is just cosmetic you could put a cleaner magnet over one spot to hide it. I just can't imagine why someone would do that!

I agree with geekafied...would not trust a repair. In long run, much cheaper and safer getting a new tank and being assured another disaster is not on the way.

Lucky the intruders were not more motivated.

But you still have what is important...your reef (and floor).

A lot cheaper to replace a tank then carpet or hardwood flooring. A good time to upgrade too ;)
