I only began talking to anyone about the set up after AZ's first post on this thread.
I spent hours reading posts and reviews long before I made the purchase. Which I bought from BRS and not thefilterguys.
I never once found a thread in which the poster had a complaint about the performance of the system.
It's ironic to me that I asked these companies for information bullets to fire back, never mentioned what forum or any names other than my own and Jim knew exactly who I was talking about.

Well it doesn't surprise me TBH. AZDR is a prolific poster on many larger forums, not just here. So all you really need to say is that this water quality guy on a forum told you something, and you can safely guess AZDR.

You also have to consider that most LFSes, who make their money in this business, dont know their rodis arent well maintained, to realize that 95% of the people who buy units will never realize theres a problem with their unit. Plenty of people dont have a post-ro meter, which is vital for measuring the health of the membrane. They'll just buy new DI, not realizing that they need DI more often because the membranes rejection rate has gone down over its lifetime for whatever reason.

    Sent from a phone.

No where has it ever been stated by me that this is the right way to do things. In the original post I was merely expressing my happiness to have finally got my water production to where I wanted it to be. AZ had to get his two cents in and shill for Spectrapure just like he has done on a lot of reef forums for years. By all means, that is fine and dandy. I'm sure he's as passionate and loyal to that company as I am for Eshopps.
I know the reason Jim knew who I was talking about but it won't be shared here in public because it's not my place.
AZ I openly apologize for the RC jab a few posts back. It was an immature act.

I've seen the test results showing me that it will work long term. I'm waiting for the results that will show me that it won't.

I'm done with this thread. It was only meant to be an expression of my happiness shared with my 3reef family but it only turned ugly.

Apology accepted and its not personal.
I truly do hope you speak with some or all of the other vendors I mentioned so they can explain to you in detail why what you are attempting will not work long term, don't take it from me even though I have been in water treatment for over 35 years myself, its my profession. Believe me it has been tried for years, we all want to find a simple way to cut waste but so far there just isn't and easy solution.
