I am having to move and am not going to be able to take my 125 gallon reed tank with me. I am going to be downsizing to a 29 gallon Bio Cube, and I am able to transition somewhat slowly, but my question has to do with a current outbreak of flatworms in my 125 gallon  I would like to start up the 29 gallon with items out of my large tank, Is there a way I can treat the live rock for flatworms before I place it in the new tank? Can I dip the live rock just as I would any corals before the transfer? I am just not sure what to do there? Any advice would be appreciated.

You could use Flatworm exit and treat the rock before you put in or nuke the rock and start over. Just make sure either way you kill them all. Not sure if a coral dip would work.

You may want to setup an intermediate tank and nuke them a few times before moving them to the final tank. Often you don't get all of them on the first try.
