hi all, in february im getting a 120 gallon 48,24,24, my ? is, will 2 20 longs be enough room for a sump and a fuge, i will drill the first tank and have it gravity fed to the sump tank. what are the dimentions of a 20 long? i will have my drain line "T"ed off so i can reduce the flow in the fuge part what do you all think? any thing im not thinking of let me know, thanks all

i wouldn't rely too much on gravity, other than that it sounds good

May want a bit bigger sump for a 120. Maybe like a 40 breeder or a 30 gallon long.

Gravity is one of the most consistent forces in the universe, there are lots of unreliable things, gravity isn't one of them. ;D

But I think your idea is fine, lots of people are doing "compound" sumps like that. You just have to make sure the overflows/plumbing doesn't get clogged just like in the display tank overflows. A standard 20 long is about 30" by 13" by 13" outer dimensions.
