    A LFS owner advised me today to go ahead and start the biofuel while I have the cyano. He loves the stuff and swears by it. Has beautiful clean and clear sps tanks so.... I hope he is right and the biofuel won't just make the cyano worse.

    Arghh.... :-/

    Biofuel is made up of organic carbons so it's not going to feed your cyano issue. Do you know whay you have Cyano? sorry if you have another thread going - bad memory here...post the situation and I am sure we can identify and help you resolve the issue at the cause.
