    My lfs recommands me using those calcium, alk, etc etc buffer for reef tank.
    I have bc29 gallon. my calcium is at 380..do i need calcium buffer?

    what are ur alk and mg levels at? what salt are you using and what is in the tank coral wise?

    You should be able to test for alk and mag before you start trying to adjust calcium. They all work together chemically and if one is off it can keep you from adjusting your calcium properly. Unless you have a lot of things in your tank that use calcium, you should be able to keep it at proper level with regular water changes with a quality salt mix.
