I employ the use of a Simplicity Brand Reactor and 'PhosphAte/r Regenerable absorption resin with a 100gph pump. Before I started using these 3 items I had between 1.5 - 2 on my Phos tests using Salifert TK. Now I have between 0 and .5. I also farm caulerpa in my scrubber, but I only noticed this helping my No2 levels, not my Phosphate.

yes gfo does work better in a reactor IMO, so does carbon.

So, You recommend to get a dual reactor and fill one with carbon and one with the gfo?

I will probably have to wait until the summer when I start working again to buy it. I figured I should start researching it.
I will probably add a skimmer too, since I do not have one at the moment.

Between the skimmer and duel reactors, you are going to see a huge difference!

I'm new to reactors myself, but can tell you i seen a big difference in how well the media worked once in a reactor.
