Hey guys, I wondering how many of you guys actually use them. Do they make a big difference?

Also, will it make any harm to my corals such as my Toadstool and Ricordeas?

In case I would buy one, which one ( including the media) would you guys recommend for a 150G?

I just purchased 2 of them from a 3reefer that was selling. I picked up 2 of the TLF Phosban reactors. Unsure at the moment how much of an affect they will have on the tanks but there have been some testing done that have shown they are very effective. If you start with too much GFO and lower your phosphate levels very quickly my understanding is that you can adversely affect corals.

i use a bashsea media reactor with GFO in it and it makes a huge diff. i would recommend this to any one [IMG]

one for carbon and one for GFO. IMO what ever you do dont get a dual reactor that is connected one media is used up before the other and seem to clog up on me.

I use a bulk reef supply reactor and run it with carbon and GFO. Honestly, I can't say I can tell it's working (nothing to compare to, I've always run one), but it definitely is not NOT working and causing any problems. So I run it :)

They do work. You need to use them carefully at the start so you do not shock your corals with a rapid water change.

    I use BRS products.

I have a Two Little Fishies running NPX Bio Pellets. Had a little cloudy water the first week but it is working great now.

I used to have one but I couldn't really tell a difference and got tired of seeing it hanging on the back, so I sold it. Pretty sure it did nothing for my tank because it looked exactly the same with it or without.
