do u addd additives to ur tank ?

just curois i add purple-up ocasionally but nothing else and i have a garden that i need to trim too often ass is..would post pis but my images r too large or something lol

 

Yes I dose Ca, Mg, alk, Seachem Reef Plus and Reef Trace.

Currently I don't dose anything. In my 20g cube I do weekly 3g change with Brightwell Salt mix. I'm considering staring to dose Ca, Alk and Mg from Bulk Reef Supply's kit but need to get nice accurate test kits first to know the doses. Now that my tank is higly stocked with SPS and some acans I might need to replenish or maintain this levels between W/C. Anyone ever tried those?

I'd recommend you stop with the purple up. Besides it being snake oil, you're dosing things without testing... You should never do that. Randomly putting in additives is not very safe.

 

I use a calium supplement and fuel and some kents coral vite.
If you do weekly wc's then there isnt much need for calcium supplements unless you have a large amount of SPS and SPS, plus its good for your cuc.
