    Well I would want my glass to be clean, but that's is just the way I like it. You can clean it if you want, just dont mess with the sand bed.

    Looks like mine. What do you have in there? i.e., chaeto, mangroves etc? You might want to address the salt creep though.

    looks like it should! I wouldn't clean it.

    the salt left behind from evaporation.:)

    Looks great, just as a seasoned refugium should look. The more "funky" the more nutrients used to avoid the unwanted algae and other blight that may occur. Refugiums don't always accomplish this but when they do....don't touch it!!

    Nice swamp....Leave it be. I just trim back my chateo to allow for new growth but leave the rest!
