lol, ok so I was reading articles on diy live rock, mainly I was reading about curing and someone said that you can put them in the toilet tank if they are small enough, lol was my first thought but it's pretty practical honestly, well if it would work.

Anyone have any insight or thoughts, comments?

why wouldn't it if you just put one or two smaller pieces in. You don't want so much that there isn't enough water to flush the toilet.
Back when water conversation became a huge issue ppl started putting bricks in the toilet tank to save water.

works fantastic....the more you can change the water the better cause it cures faster (keeps the PH low). I do my DIY oystercrete frag plugs in the toilet tank. Also saves on the water bill because you use less water to flush...just make sure you have enough water left in the tank to flush your business down :p

I imagine as long as you don't use one of those blue disc things, you'd be fine.

dont actually put it in the part were you use the bath room. Put the small rocks in the back-tank part.

I ran my RO discharge into a bucket that sat inside the sink. Toilet tank should work, too, especially if it gets a lot of use. I worked with a guy who hid his beer in a toilet tank at work. Kept it well hidden and cool. 8)

I wouldn't use RO discharge for curing anything. If your tap water has nitrates/phosphates/copper/any number of other bad stuff, it'll leech into the rock.
