Okay, so I just built a custom 6g nano tank right. Its has a footprint of 12"x 12" and its 9.5" tall. I currently have a zoanthid frag and a small warty anemone. This is under a 500k 30w CFL. I was going to get a 6500k bulb but im looking into LEDs instead. I was wondering how many LED's and what colors you guys recommend for this setup. If i do get LEDs i'll probably venture into stonies too. I was looking at this kit, would this be good for my tank? This is at rapid led.com.

ya that would probably be good for sps but if you wanted you could order from gogosource on ebay and just send him an email saying how many 1watt leds what temp and how many blues. I would go with 10 of each Thats what I have over my 5.5. he also sells drivers and he will send you an invoice for the whole kit so it you did it this way it would be around $40-$50 for the leds and drivers. but either way its not to much oh a difference on price. (oh but it will take like a month if you order from the guy on ebay because it is coming from china ;D)

30Watts might be to much in a 6 gallon. I would go with about 20

You should get a dimable balest if possible because if your corals start to bleach you would want to turn it down. and it is such a shallow tank its hard to say what you need.
