    I know of 3 places to get "larger-sized" heatsinks at a decent price:

    RapidLED
    Heatsink USA
    Reef LED Lights.

    If I were to guess I'd say they get them from the same supplier, or local suppliers.

    Yes, heatsinkusa is where mine came from (it was in the first post too, but no worries). They went to anodizing on Monday; still waiting on them.

    hold up! i missed out on this first time around...

    are you adding the warm whites for their increase in red spectrum or what is your reason?

    how much you will you be spending for this? I want to upgrade to LEDs from MH too but don't have the money. I was hoping after selling my MH i can invest for parts in this myself. Looks great so far, keep us posted.

    Got the aluminum goods back from anodizing today. Waiting on part availability from Rapid now to place my order there, should be this week.

    What was the around about cost of getting it anodized?

    I'm going with a RapidLED DIY on my 25g within the next month!

    For what you see, the anodizing cost was just shy of $70.
