    Actually, it may be better to look at pictures if you want to get normal looking anatomy. The normal fish market fish may not be so normal. It can be jacked up too with infections and parasites. Also, they did not die normal deaths... basically they die of hypoxia if they are lucky. Their gills won't look like a newly dead pet fish.

    But a market fish can be a good specimen to practice the cutting on.
