Honey, I changed a head gasket on a car with my son, who was 18 at the time. I've never done it before, neither had he, and it ran great, till it got flipped. Don't tell me it CAN'T BE DONE? How dedicated are you? And I mean that in THE nicest of ways!:)

Well I have crushed coral so I will want to change that anyway plus they are in the substrate as well. so If i do that and nuke the rock plus all new water. wouldn't I get a big cycle and my pods would be gone so my favorite fish would be as well.

well you only have a couple fish so i dont see why you couldnts have them live in a trash can or a 20 gallon tank for a couple weeks. just make sure your mandarin has enough to eat.

ya know, that's an idea. get a cheapie 10 gallon from wally world and put them in it until you nuke the rock then do your cycle. Use the emperor on the 10 gal. way more than it needs but without sand in it you'd be ok for a few days...... you would be able to get the sand out of the old tank too. Then use the 10gal as a sump...... hmmm????

    Good answer So!!!:)

Scenario.....as to the "you go girl"...I read the book!!!!!..can you imagine????;D
