today i found two of these guys in my tank. I dont know much about them except they can give use a very powerful sting if we touch them. But i want to know what your experiences with these things are and are they ok with coral and fish. Also in the tanks 7 months this is the first time ive seen them

If there's only two, it's not much of a concern. Scrub them off with a toothbrush.

ok yea ive only seen these two so far if left in the tank would they harm the corals or fish at all. I worry about touching them, my skin reacts extremly sensitive to almost anything in my tank like my arm burns after each time im working in the tank, got pink eye, got stung by my sea urchin *surprisingly no reaction* so i worry if i get stung by these guys that i would have another really bad reaction. would they be able to sting through laytex gloves?

they can and will sting nearby corals. They will sting you too. Gloves will protect you though.

Ctenophores are different from digitate hydroids.

I have torn down my first tank because of these. They will spread rapidly. I tried everything under the sun to get rid of em to no avail. And they will also sting you not just the corals and fish. I wish you luck. I have a old thread on here from my bout with them.
