OK I have a little not a lot but how do you clean your sand bottom tanks. I tried during water changes and all I did was make a mess. I thought about a sea cucumber but thy poop to. My Parms are good. Well except my Mag and Cal but we are working on those. As always Thanks.

I have the same problem. I been debating between a tiger tail cucumber (from my understanding if something happens they wont nuke a tank), and a sand sifting star. From my understanding though a SSS sifts down into the sand deeper & I am looking for a top level cleaner. So I am interested what thought are out there as well.

Cucumbers poop out clean sand, from what I understand.

Thats why I am highly considering one. Poop jokes are always funny, let alone a critter in the tank whose function is to poop.

I have a sand sifter and about 10 nasuarius snails. My sand sifter doesnt burry himself deep, he does a great job keeping the sand bed clean. The nasuarius snails are my favorite snails, they actually burry themselves in the sand bed and crawl around under it. They eat just about everything on the sand bed. Good Luck!

Well there would be about 150 Dwarf Ceriths in my tank right now if usps didn't suck. My guaranteed by 3:00 delivery today is some where between Fla and who freaking knows.

sand sifting goby... unless you have a lot of zoas in the bottom 1/4 of the tank, then probably not.. but I love how clean my diamond goby keeps my sand bed!
