Well I set up the return pipe and overflow pipe to see how everything would go together. I just taped everything in place before gluing anything. I have just about a half inch to spare between the overflow pipe and the front of the overflow, just barely made it. I plan to have an MP10 on the far side of the tank on the back wall, opposite of the sides the return are on to have flow in all areas.

So are there any thoughts on this return set up? I'm hoping I've covered the front and right side of the tank, and hopefully the MP10 will take care of the left side.

    Thanks

Does this setup look ok for sump? The overflow will be split to the right and left. The flashlight on the right will be the overflow split to the refugium, and the paper towel on the left is the overflow split to the skimmer area.

Mainly I just want to make sure it's the appropriate amount of space in each area and appropriate height for the baffles. Thanks

Thanks, this sump will be a snug fit, won't leave much room for other stuff

Looking great so far! I like the smaller overflow box, good move, Id say. It was taking too much real-estate in the display.

As far as the flow goes, try not to rely on the returns as water movement in the display, I know you wanna make the it look rather simple and sleek. I had one VorTech for a while and acquired another (used) down the road on my 90. I love having two!

You can always stick the GFO/GAC reactors inside of the sump.

Looks very nice so far. A couple of questions, are you going to keep it right near a window? That may be problematic down the road or you may want to paint the back. Also, do you plan on adding doors to the stand, probably a stupid question, but I'm thinking you don't want to keep it wide open like that and look at the sump. Just my .02
