Dead fish

    I lost my coris wrasse this morning.. not quite sure why, everything else is doing really well. Yesterday he was swimming around just fine, but I didn't see him for almost a full two days before that I thought he died but then there he was just fine yesterday evening, and this morning he was dead...

    SG - 1.025
    DKH -7
    ammonia - 0
    nitrite - 0
    nitrate - 0
    phosphate - 0

    I added a Tail spot blenny two days ago thats about it..

    PH and temp can also play a role. If those are good then Idk.

    Yea this is my second coris wrasse the other one jumped :( Plus I pulled him out of the tank.. Im not sure.. I guess some fish just die.. maybe he was stressed out

    Things do just happen sometimes...

    What were you feeding and how often?

    I was feeding it mysis and he liked the pieces of Krill He also got a few pellets if the clowns would miss a few sometimes

    How often?

    So long as you were feeding him 2-3 times a day, you can rule out improper diet.

    How fast did your alk drop to 7 also there could have been a big ph swing with the falling alk.. I'd try and kept your alk up around 10ish just for the piece of mind ..
