davids 130 gallon reef

this is a birdsnest frag that only had 2 spikes on it when i bought it. while on vacation, it fell into a patch of anthelia and was there 3 days. when i came back, i retrieved it and notice it had changed colors and i thought it was dead. out of curiousity, i placed it back on the live rock and now the polyps come out and it is growing rapidly. you can also see a green monti cap frag

 

congrats dirtydavenkc - thats a fine recovery for the coral

ok so i wont have any pics til morning but today while trying to kill some time, i drove to my lfs. They had a green birdsnest and roscoe blue frags. i bought the roscoe for 30 and the green birdsnest for 25.

 

here is the green birds nest. i couldnt get a clear pic of the roscoe so i will have someone that owns a better camera come over tomorow and get a better pic

 

ok so i went to the lfs today to order lights. while i was there i found a 3/4 inch piece of rainbow montiporus. ill get pic of it when polyps open back up.

 

ok here it is. ive been doing alot of practicing with the camera and hopefully it shows. ok i threw in a pic of some green birdsnest just cause. this is pretty much 3 mins after i put it in
