    I'll see if I can throw together a "test your tank for voltage" thread and have everyone post the results to compare. I think the pattern will be almost everyone has stray voltage if they don't have a grounding probe.

    Well, I went out & bought a $2.99 voltmeter from Harbor Freight, and it reads the stray voltage in my tank between .1-.3! Well, I'm glad I dropped the thirty bucks on the "quality" Sears brand meter. :angry:
    I guess Craftsman isn't what it used to be...

    You are using GFCI protected receptacles aren't you?

    I use power strips with the breaker switch thingy.

    Isn't that what the switch is for on the power strip? Is that not enough?
