dang it!! clown bit me >:S

yeah lol i was trying to fix my powerhead and do some other stuff and he just chaces my hand and throws water in my direction..

when he sees that i ignore him he charges at me and bites me!!! that little bugger...

it doesnt hurt or anything but somehow eventhough i see it coming it still startles me and i keep spilling the water lol... dang..

he is agressive..;D thought i should share... ( first time it happens to me in 1.3 years in the hobby lol)

 

My clowns sleep in my hand when I'm cleaning the tank.

 

Mine used to do that when i was here, but since ive been away and my mom barely puts her hand in the tank they have forgotten whos boss lol8)

im hoping that meanwhile im here doing stuff they will get better if thats possible:

 

only my male clow bittes me he charges and bittes me every time i put my hand in the water. both of my clowns like to eat out of my hand

My Sohal will bite me. he tends to nibble on my fingers when I have them in teh tank. he is big enough to almost get the tip of my pinkie in his mouth. talk about a funny feeling. he not being mean or territorial. he is looking for food thinking I have some in my hand.

 

My big female bites me numerous times every time I stick my hand in the tank. The male ignores me and does his own thing. The last time I had my hand in the tank I went to retrieve a small frag that had fell down in the entrance to the cave my pink tail trigger occupies and he ran out and nipped me. Luckly he didnt draw blood but out of all my fish he has the most potiential to hurt me the most.

 

yea... my female bites like crazy... She will always bite this one spot on my knuckle... She draws blood, it hurts... lol

 

What a funny thread!! I have the same comical problem with my tomato clown. He will bite me very aggressively. But will eat out of my hand.He just started after he got his first green bubble after five years of having him. But the other fish including the small ones he leaves alone.

 

That's sucks but its kinda funny. My achillies hasn't bite me yet but when my hands go anywhere the nori clip he circles them like a shark. His scapel gets a little to close for comfort
