I gave them some yesterday because the guy at the LFS said it was beter than flakes ive been giving them, I bought them from petco so they are used to flakes. They looked at the shrimp and tried some but spit it back out. are flakes the only thing they will eat now? I also have a skunk cleaner and the guy at the LFS said thats what he eats, should i be feeding both flakes for the damsels and brine for the shrimp at the same time? Its kinda messy and creats lots of debris in the tank.

    thanks for the help

I've never fed my fish just one food. I mix it up for them. I use pellets, Brine, Mysis, etc.........never the same thing day after day. Maybe they just got used to the flakes. Give them a few days.Maybe they'll get hungry enough just to eat w/e you offer them.

I do feed mine the brine every once in a while. Sostoudt is right......low nutrition. But they treat it like I do chocolate.

I do too. I do a combination of Formula 1/Formula 2 flake, as well as two different kinds of seaweed (green and purple). For frozen I do a vegetarian/meat combo for the tang and the angel. Everyone likes it though. Then the once in a while brine shrimp treat.

    Yes they do!!!!!!

Well i bought 2 packets of them, just because i thought they would go crazy for them and they arent touching it so far, So mysis shrimp would be more nutritious? Ill keep puting it in the tank to feed the cleaner shrimp he seems to react to me putting in there.

I usually feed my damsels pellets and frozen mysis soaked in selcon and garlic guard. They love it and it really brings out the color in them. It's good for their immune system too.
