If the eyes are not clouded and he's not scratching probably nothing to worry about. Just monitor the situation and if you do not already have some medicine on hand order some so you have if needed fo rthis or any future ordeal. Also if you see it coming and you are a QT type person make sure your QT is all set up if the need shall arise.

I did post another thread about there being like white flem strands on the sand in my fish tank but someone said it could be spaghetti worms but it doesnt look like it.. could that be what it is?

Since you're cycling your tank with them, it's probably about to die or just suffering a lot. Damsels don't always survive cycling, I tried it once and both died. Anyway, it's a $3 fish... won't cost much to replace it if you really wanted another.

How far into your cycle are you? Have you checked water parameters lately?

OH, entirely different ball game. I didn't realize you are cycling - Yeah, he's swimming in a bad environment. I personally find Damsels to be overly aggressive and problematic down the road. Drop in an expensive fish after you cycle and the $3 damsel stresses it out to the point of illness....ack!

Yeah I just read his other thread this morning... here it is http://www.3reef.com/forums/asap/supposed-there-56847.html

And about damsels, some people like them, I have said numerous times here on 3reef that I am glad that mine died by going to sleep on the intake of a powerhead, this was after I was unsuccessful at catching them (was going to GIVE them to the lfs just so I didn't have to deal with them anymore).

I'll never forget starting my first reef, I used 2 damsels and 200 pounds of live rock all because "my LFS said to" ! LOL. after the cycle I struggled to get them out and couldn't I ended up pulling all the rock to catch them -- it was at that point I learned to stay away from the books and LFS advice and talk to experienced reefers online !! It’s been great ever since. But I also hear all the time that people love their damsels and have no issue, I guess I was soured from the start on them. I think it was a yellow tang that they beat the tar out of within 2 days….wow that seems like so long ago !!
