cycling questions

ok so i started a 20 g …

I am in he cycling process decided to just put lr and a damsel in there to get things going.

was wondering is there any thing special I should do during this stage and should i keep the lights off?

 

Lights can be left on or off, pretty much your choice. You can keep them on to give your damsels day/ night simulation.
That damsel might give you problems in the future, since they get very agressive.

Sounds good, that's basically how I cycled. What type of damsel did you get?

 

its your call about the lights. theres a thread that talks about keeping them off for 8 weeks which prevents algae brake out but i did it your way. and good circulation.

 

Wow replies so fast….. lol. I have the little blue damsel with the yellow tail. He went into hiding and never came out . I can see his little head poking out tho. Well since u request pictures as i new you would lol let me go take some.
