much better off building one yourself, good stands are heavy and will cost a fortune to ship. plus building one doesnt take long as all, and can be a lot more affordable

Money isn't the issue here. I really don't have the time, nor the ability to make one myself.

I was just looking online in Marine Depot, but Just wondering if there was a website that has stands that are more customizable?

time is the biggest thing. and were talking a day to build/sand it, and then next day to stain/paint/protect/dry. i personally dont know of a website that builds them, but if you change your mind and want some plans for a pretty nice stand, then lemme know, i build my stand and my buddy scotts stand, they came out amazing, and that was the first time id ever done anything like that, imma computer/math nerd, not a carpenter, but they came out great.

it'd take less time to build than it would for it you ship to your place.

It's not about the time that it takes to build, its just that I don't have the time to make one. I'm basically busy all week, so that's next to impossible. Plus this is a tank that will be in an office in school so I don't really want to "experiment". Not that good in DIY things. Plus I would have to buy the materials, which would mean i have to order them online because I can't go to the store. Long story short, it is much easier on me to just order a stand from an online store. ( or maybe from my LFS if I can't find anything nice).
If this was my own tank, i would definitely consider it though. Thanks for your input :)

no dice bud. I think the market is too small for just fish tank stands... specially a customizable one, that needs to be build and shipped to you. The money just isnt there i would imagine.

Try a lfs, or ask a carpenter locally. Its not too difficult to slap some boards together. paint and stain, add trim and what not. Craigslist might have one you can spruce up to your liking...

I was hoping since stores sell tanks by themselves, I thought maybe they will also sell the stands by themselves.
The stand I was looking for was "custom" because I needed it for a peninsula where the back of it is also covered.
