In the 58g my skimmer toasted, biggest issue is it's dumping water out the back of the sump now cause it cant flow as fast as it could when it was working for some reason, guess since the drain hooks straight to an intake on the skimmer.

Anyone know anything about "marineland skimmers" one of the LFS' has one in a 22g sump thats the only one in town I can find that isnt made for like a 300g tank and I really dont think it'll be safe to wait for 2-3 days for one to come in

How much water is in the sump to allow it to run over the back ? Is the pump running or not ? Could be just a jammed impeller ?

Pump is a brand new mag 9.5 (950gph)

It's working fine, i ended up turning the ball valve on the pump to slow down it's return to the top and that in turn slowed the water coming back down to the sump, I wish I'd have taken a pic of the old sump before i threw it off the 2nd floor into the dumpster

We have a brand new sump and coralife skimmer in place now, this is actually kind of a blessing in disguise cause i really hated that old sump, + now i have a new mag pump, new skimmer, new sump, new ph's and a full credit card, all thats left is the old jager heater lol
