So I've been a little slow at getting this thread going, but better late than never right?
It's a Marineland 65 with mega flow overflows. There is a matching canopy as well but I am waiting for my rapid led order to arrive before i get it all istalled.
As of right now, equip. is:
-36 LED rapidLED dimmable kit (shipped sept 9th, still has not arrived:-/)
-Home made sump out of a 20L, with skimmer section on the right, return in the middle and fuge on the left.
-BRS biopellet reactor with mag-3 pump.
    -2x 1400 koralia phs and 1x 600 koralia.
-70 lbs of dry rock and one small corralline covered piece if live rock from lfs to seed the dry.
-80 lbs of coarse super reef sand.
-Ordered a swc extreme 160 cone today.

I have a bit of a wish list, like a reef keeper controller and what not that I'm gonna have to wait a little bit to order cause I think the wife is starting to get curious about how much money I have going into this tank lol.

I'll update this thread as things progress!

Thanks for looking! Comments and suggestions always welcome :).

    Jake

Nice--I just picked up a 65g from a fellow reefer last week. The height was a bit of an adjustment, but I really like it now. He drilled a hole and did an internal overflow that I really like. Your scape looks pretty cool. What is your thinking on the powerheads? How much water movement are you aiming for? Wavemaker too? I have a reefkeeper lite, and it's been awesome--you should definitely get one.

I haven't really thought too much about what corals I'm gonna try, but am thinking I may pick up another ph., not sure yet. The height is a little more than I wanted, but this tank is in our bedroom and it sits between the bathroom and closet so I only had 36 inches to work with. This was the largest tank I could fit lol.
The scape was actually one attempt lol. Its all expoxied in place so it can't get knocked over. I'm happy with it, I got lucky on that one.
My LFS is looking to see if he can get me a reef keeper, his current supllier doesn't have them so he's gonna shop around.

Gonna mount the heatsinks in the canopy, I was gonna hang them but we are renting our condo and the ceilings are concrete slab and walls are steel stud.
DBO you using the reefkeeper lite or elite?

Yeah I was worried if I just got the lite I'd regret not going elite. I'll have to think about it I guess.
Cain the tank is 24" deep, LED should be about 8" off the water, but I'll have to figure out how to mount them when they arrive. Just spoke with Mike from RapidLED and he said they cleared customs on the 18th so they should be here anytime.

Nice build. I love how many 65 builds we've got going on around here lol. What color combination did you go with for the rapid kit?

Indeed, looking good. Did you figure out the BP tumbling issue? I really suggest to use the pre-filter sponge on the Mag3, and the MOD! LOL
