    call me stupid but I'm a sucker when they come out with newer, slightly better, sleeker versions of electronics/gadgets haha

    I did the same thing when they came out with the slim ps2.. I sold my original bulky looking ps2 on craigslist and picked up the new one.

    Now I did the same for my ps3 I just couldn't resist. I didn't take too big a hit though. I sold my 80 gig ps3 on craigs for $200 and found a pretty good discount on the new ps3 slim. I bought it for $260 shipped on Online Auction, Hottest Products, Online Bargains, Prices Only Go Down at CircusPop.com :)

    Very nice. What made you think you would get away without pictures? I've never seen the slim and now I'm curious.

    The only issue with the ps3 slim is that it is not backward compatible to play ps2 games. If that does not matter to you, then you are golden.

    So If I were to egta ps3 slim, i would have to keep my ps2 to play the oldies but goodies.

    Yes, I still have my sega master system, and my atari 2600 complete with pong paddles.

    horkn that's great. have all the 8 bit nes games downloaded on the wii. doc i see where you come from bc it's always nice to keep up with the latest stuff. sony is notorius for doing that with their systems so from now on just wait a year after the release and get the slim version. my luck is i buy a system and the next week they do a 100 dollar price drop.

    :p I love my ps3... The new one is quite amusing as for it fits on my dresser better then the older one I gave to my brother cause it didn't fit.

    I've got the original ps3 premium that can still play ps2 games :)
    love it but i use it more for BluRay than i do for games
