hey, i tested my tank today and everything was perfect, except calcium(380) i knew it would start to drop since i've just started to add coral and til now haven't had a reason to dose for calcium and alkalinity. I just purchased the ESV 2 part Calcium buffer system (E.S.V. B-Ionic 2-Part Calcium Buffer ) i didnt buy it from this site but i was wanting you to know exactly what i was using. I bought the gallon jugs. It says use 1ML/ 4 gallons. My aquarium isnt fully stock right now but i do want my calcium up so do i add a full dose or cut back at first? Second thing is that my KH is 10 degrees so if i add equal parts like it says, will my KH go to high? Thanks in advance.

First things first, you need to test for Mag. Mag helps to maintain Cal and Dkh levels. If your Mag levels are low, as you dose for cal, your Alk will decrease and visa versa. Start low, test and you will soon find out what your consumption rate is. Luna
