Cought some fish in Spain and added to the tank...

    Let's see whether they will survive... the wrasse I caught went diving into the sandbed right away but that seems to be a common behavior. He's quite pretty, but now still in hiding, so no pics.
    Just thought it was fun to catch fish right out of the ocean... ;D.
    And since I don't have any life stock in there yet I thought it was worth a try... besides I can't kill any fish!!!

    One is definilty a wrasse ... quite pretty and colorful .. the other one... no idea but about the same size.. Wrasse just went under the sandbed again, so no pics at this time, sorry :(

    Mallorca is one of the balerean islands, so the meditarranian.... cool looking fish!!! Still hiding but they first have to acclimate

    cant wait to see pics, i loved the meditarranian ocean when i stayed at hotel at Casa de Sol, beautiful area, although it was quite windy. we also almost went on a boat ride to Africa but we were told it was unsafe for Americans so we couldnt go which really sucked

    Well, I had to relocate for business, but it's beautiful here and let's see... the wrasse appeared and then went back into the sandbed... but nothing unusual for a wrasse... can't wait to take pics and hope it will survive !!!!

    I think it's a rainbow wrasse, but not sure... still hiding

    I think he doesn'st ¡ike the light but they will go off in 3 hours.... so let's see what happens....

    Sounds like a cool option, wish I could do that.

    You're probably well aware but I just wanted to caution about possibly introducing parasites and disease like this. Did you quarantine the fish?

    Free fish aren't free anymore if they nuke all your other fish with some nasty parasite.
