    Anybody have experience with this type of algae. Tried the manual removal. Thinkin of trying the boiling water trick.

    that stuff is a menace. do you have callithamnion or asparagopsis? With a Callithamnion I would go with manual, jut grind your thumb on the rock to get the holdfast. What kind of holdfast are you dealing with? Creeping or single?

    boiling water trick...;D Is that similar to the flame thrower trick?

    Callithamnion, I tried removing the rock it came in on and getting in the cevises with a tooth brush. But the rock has several different mushrooms and zoas on it. Now I noticed some all by itself on some rocks towards the back of the tank.

    Someone suggested squirting some boiling ro on it.:-/
    All I can tell ya is that it seems to be coming back pretty damn quick. Not liking it.
