Corals really memorize me, there like ballerina dancers compared to fish, which to me is more like watching sumo wrestlers, not that I watch either one, but my best description. my fish just attack me when I put my hand in there unless I have food.

I prefer to keep fish, but I find coral more interesting to analyze and observe.

I am really torn here.... I really don't know what I would do.

I got into this hobby knowing that I wanted a very large SPS dominated tank. Watching the polyps sway in current. On the other hand, I also love watching athnias swimming gracefully over the tops of the coral reef. The tangs swimming in between the corals encrusted rock searching for some tasty treats.

    I just don't know..

I got into the hobby wanting LPS/SPS corals. I researched a lot and have been keeping coral for about 9 months. I've only ever had one fish, and that was before the reef tank (running fishless).

    I'd rather have corals/inverts than fish. :)

The fish are ONLY to make the corals seem more natural anyhow!! Later swimmers!

I got into the hobby because of fish but I spend more time staring at my corals then I do my fish. I still love them but SPS has some allure that I cant really explain. I guess I dont have to though because other reefers understand. :)

Like someone else said corals are cool and pretty, but it would just be like a garden. I love fish because there active and you can inter act with them. Gotta go Fish and buy fake corals. :)

The fish (singular) is there for movement and waste products, the corals are the subtle superstars of the show.

I've been thinking of this a lot lately. I get much more excited over corals than fish, so I say coral. I don't know, there is just something that interests me to no end with them. I would much rather have a coral only tank than a fowlr... Well I shouldn't say that. In a small tank it's true for me, but hey, a three hundred gallon fowlr would be nice, I'd rather have that than coral only just because of the beautiful fish out there.
