    I agree with it being a lighting issue. Your tank looks pretty "bright" so to speak. Not enough blue :)

    I've heard purple up is, for lackbof a better word, a scam. Essentially, proper calcium levels and water changes do just what purple up do. Should I replace my 10000k with another actinc? It's a 2 bulb fixture and there is already an actinic in it.

    I do know you can over dose on the elements. I would say do 2 actinic bulbs and see if it helps. If not ur only out $20

    I would say go with the blue plus. It's an actinic with high par.

    ATI 1x aquablue special 1x coral plus and 2x blue plus. This is what I'm running with wonderful results. All my rock is covered in the purple you see here :)[​IMG]

    Looks great. Me personally, I would probably need to keep a "white" light and 3 "blue" lights. I like the appearance of a brighter tank, but I don't want to compromise growth.

    Here's an FTS just so you can see, with the above combo there is NO compromising of growth in anything. I think if you go 3x blue it will be to dark for your enjoyment. Just saying...
