    I have had Coralline appear then if the Calcium is not maintained it starts to die and turn white. I am actually fighting this right now. I have been adding Kents 2 part calcium additive every morning to get my ppm back up. Have you checked you Calcium levels in the tank?

    HI,
    Another point to remember is that calcium will precip if that mag isn't right, its pretty hard to tweak calcium if the kH is high the mag is low.
    Its all related .

    If your calcium level is high...chances are your alkalinity is low and your magnesium is becoming depleted!
