go to ebay and get yourself one for about 110-130 bucks. Screw ro, really look for a ro/di system and you wont be unhappy. Trust me ive had mine now coming up to a year with no leaks and produces about 75 gpd.

no, but to me and from what I read, name brand units are the same as the off brand name units. I really wouldnt pay the extra for this from what I just found and would seriously consider the ebay stuff for it.

i have one and am pleased with it. caught on sale at foster n smith for like $105. that being said i would still consider the ones on ebay. some of them come with a holding tank and everything. basically most membranes are the same and that's what makes the filter anyway.

Coralife units are very low quality, lots of complaints of leaks, poor performance, short life etc.
I would also stay away from ebay. There are a ton of low quality units on ebay using Chines knock off components that just plain don't work well. Stick with a known vendor like Spectrapure, Air Water & Ice, PurelyH2o etc.
In fact Spectrapure is having a sale even the ebay vendors can't touch and better yet they are a sponsor of this forum which helps keep it afloat for all of us.

I have what's left of one, I replaced a whole bunch of the parts because I hated them. Overall I felt like it was a cheap product and overpriced and would have been much happier buying one from bulkreefsupply or filterguys etc that uses standard high quality fittings/parts. Also 50gpd is pretty weak when you can get a 75gpd unit for the same or cheaper.
