    I am not advance nor am I a newbie.

    I have a 55 gallon drilled w/30 gallon sump and skimmer.
    700 gph return and a 820 gph flow pump in tank.
    my lighting is
    2x 150W DE HQI Bulb 15000K
    4x 14W T5 High Output Actinic Blue

    I am going to get a torch, duncan, possibly zoos, and some ricordea

    will get a clam latter down the road.

    any other suggestions that I can look into?

    What about a toadstool leather? Frogspawns and Hammers are always great as well. Same family as the torch I believe, but you can get an orange torch and then a green frogspawn or hammer.

    You can probably get into sps too. Montiporas are easy to keep and are a good starter monti.

    I drool over the Catalaphyllia jardinei (Elegance Coral). I would have bought this had I known about them before I purchased my Duncan. Don't get me wrong, I really dig my Duncan, but the colors on the Elegance is amazing.

    Appears to be a Montipora Confusa. Pretty hardy and very neat to look at.

    I thought they were very difficult to raise, die in a couple of days. otherwise this would be my first pic as well.

    IMO, they're very much like any other SPS. I'd say they're hardy for the fact that they can grow under many types of lighting conditions where other SPS corals just can't
